The Master Franchise Program is recommended for local entrepreneurs or groups that choose to open a determined amount of corporate stores and will build an infrastructure to support growth through sub-franchising. The Area Developer Agreement, similar to the Master Franchise Agreement but smaller in scale in terms of both start-up capital and development area, does not grant the rights to sub-franchise and is defined by a number of stores to be developed within a certain geographical area. In order to have economies of scale, a minimum number of stores needs to be developed which will be determined on a per market area.

Interested parties should have a net worth between five and 20 million dollars. Interested individuals or groups must have a strong business background with experience in international operations, other franchising, automotive related and/or parts and manufacturing experience or insurance. MAACO is seeking individuals or groups to build a team of talented managers and marketing professionals in the challenging and exciting international arena.

Once we have met with the interested franchisee and a mutual interest has been determined between, we will send them a Letter of Intent and begin the official franchise award process. Upon completion, a contract for an international franchise will be offered. The new franchisee is then be required to attend training in their respective country and MAACO representatives would guide them through setting up a new shop, equipment and inventory purchasing and other needs of setting up the new business. Generally speaking, this process, from introduction to contract signing, takes between one to three months. A new international MAACO pilot shop can be up and running within six to eight months.
