As food banks across North America continue to experience a strain on their supplies, this contribution helps Bucks County Housing Group provide crucial items needed for Penndel’s most vulnerable.

Residents from Penndel and the surrounding area are encouraged to bring their contributions to Maaco Penndel at 1841 W. Lincoln Hwy, Penndel, PA.

“Let’s take the opportunity to celebrate the season by giving back to our community by providing food and toys to those less fortunate in our neighborhood,” said Thomas Andrews, owner of Maaco Penndel. “It’s the least we can do this or any year, and we’re happy to do what we can.”

Acceptable items the Bucks County Housing Group will take include non-perishable food items; toiletries such as shampoo, soap and toothpaste; and toys for children

“Every year we aim to provide enough food for over 150 families, and we have been able to do it thanks to the continued support of our amazing Penndel community,” said Andrews. “We are taking donations until Dec. 18 this year and we hope to exceed last year’s goal.”
